The museum was inaugurated by Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, the Ruler’s Representative in the Eastern Region, on 2 November 1971. Visit to Al Ain Palace Museum, The iconic structure on the western edge of the Al Ain Oasis was built in the year 1937 for the late H.H. Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and his family. The family lived there till 1966. In 1998, work began to convert it into a museum and by 2001 it was open to the public. Visit Al Ain Zoo, The Al Ain Zoo is a humongous 400-hectare park near the base of Jebel Hafeet is where visitors can see many beautiful species of animals in enclosures that closely resemble their natural habitats. Over 4,000 animals reside in the zoo out of which around 130 species are considered endangered. Also visit to the largest camel market in U. A. E.
